Traveling with your best friend and two 5-year-olds requires a perfect balance of community and privacy. We opted for the Interconnecting Superior Rooms (Renovated), which easily accommodated our crew of four. For Hong Kong families traveling as two separate households, this setup is an absolute game-changer:

• Completely separate bedrooms & bathrooms: because we are two separate families, we each had our own fully private bedroom and bathroom. Zero awkward sharing, no morning bottlenecks, and total independence for both families.
• Daytime play: during the day the interconnecting door stays wide open, creating a massive, sprawling layout where Beni and Aoife could bounce between rooms and play safely together.
• Nighttime peace: once bedtime hit, we simply shut the connecting door. Each family had their own quiet room to crash — the kids slept peacefully while the adults relaxed without waking anyone.

Because our stay ran over October 31st, we got to experience one of Club Med's most spectacular seasonal events: the annual Halloween Party. Club Med completely transforms the resort with stunning decorations and a vibrant costume culture where everyone — from resort guests to the energetic G.O staff — dresses up to celebrate together.

The absolute peak of the festive fun for Beni and Aoife was the official Mini Club Med Trick-or-Treat Parade. They loved marching through the beautiful resort grounds in their costumes, collecting treats, and laughing with the G.O staff.

But the true magic of this trip for the adults happened during the day. By checking the kids into the regular Mini Club daytime slots, we unlocked our own true "freedom hours." The moment we left them under the watchful eyes of the incredible, professional G.O team to go make friends and play, a wave of relief washed over us.
